Welcome to Afrikids!

Afrikids, Inc. is a Miami-based nonprofit dedicated to improving the lives of underprivileged youth in the Arusha region of Tanzania. More simply stated, Afrikids is a group of caring individuals with a deep affection for the people of Tanzania.

Through Afrikids, we fund the education of dozens of children and adolescents at English-curriculum boarding and day schools. We also support local communities by renting classrooms, providing housing for students’ families, covering emergency medical expenses, and doing food distributions at schools and churches.

All funding for Afrikids comes from individual donors and fundraising activities. 100% of the money we raise goes toward supporting our students and their communities. Afrikids was formally incorporated in January 2018 as a 501c3 nonprofit organization, but we have been supporting students in the Arusha area since 2010.
